The President’s 10 is a mentorship programme aimed at young women in their third year of secondary school. The 10-week training course was conceptualised by the Hon. Senator, Williams-Grant, and is designed to give the young women hands-on experience working with Antigua & Barbuda’s political system and to equip them with the skills necessary to compete in the workforce.
DoGA provides gender sensitization sessions with the mentees, which explore issues related to gender and development, gender-based violence, discrimination against women and girls, and women in positions of leadership.
